The high was a solid 10 degrees cooler today. Then starting around noon or so it rained. Hard at times. To start, we got .37 inches in about 15 minutes (that's a lot for us). Then it rained or drizzled all afternoon for a grand total of 1.01 inch over about 4-5 hours. Temp dropped 27 degrees- from 83 to 56. I had to put a sweater on. That's the best rain we have had all season.

On and off rain today, up to .89", and the temperature only up to 77°. Only forecast to 76° overnight, and getting warmer tomorrow, with a lot more rain, and very humid again. Saturday it is supposed to finally clear up, with less humidity.

Hurricane Debby is passing through. Since the wee hours of this morning until just now we've gotten a solid 4" of rain, & a tornado touched down about an hour northeast of us, & we're on "watch" until 7 a.m. tomorrow. Not much sleep tonight.

Rain finally ended around noon or so today & now the sun is out. Temps were "supposed" to be cooler, but honestly it feels just as hot & humid as pre-hurricane dregs. Ended up with a little over 5" of rain total, so shouldn't have to water for another couple of days.

We had predictions of 2-3" of rain from Debby but ended up with 1.25" total.

The forecast here was much more, too. We got just under an inch before storm Debbie came, but once it got here, only .19" got here - a lot more went west of here. It's supposed to get much less humid for a while now!

It has cooled down here, as well. Low 80s. And some decent rains. Our yearly precipitation is at 9.35 inches. Normal is about 12.5 inches so we just might make that this year. It's been a while. Nights are chilly but the temps are reasonable- high 50s to low 60s. It's this darn humidity that makes it feel cooler.

19 inches of rain last week and so far another 10 this week. Fortunately I’m 14 feet above sea level and a few miles from the river, so I was really fortunate and didn’t have any serious problems other than ants coming in the house and some flowers and melons drowning. A few miles away people were getting rescued off of roofs and kayaking through the streets. Can’t step outside without getting mobbed by hundreds of mosquitoes now though 😂. Hoping the citrus don’t all swell and split open. Today is great, no rain today! And a cool 85 degrees

Dude, that's serious, like my friends in LA (Louisiana, not Los Angeles). I'm glad to hear you're OK, praying for others.
