Besides peonies, roses and irises, there is honeysuckle. I love it and I hate it. It's wonderful while we are sitting on the porch and there must be some out back, too, because I smell it at night while working on the computer. If only they could combine it with tulips or daffodils so it could disappear after blooming.

Peonies are showing off again, Columbine still hanging in there. Wild raspberry bushes are blooming. From far they look like they are covered in snow. Strawberries have flowers and a few of the tomato plants have flowers. Petunias on the deck are showing off too.

The dianthus is making a spectacular show this year. When the blooms are done I cut them off and it blooms some again, nothing like the first time around, but still some color.
The chive was huge this year, it all flopped over so cut it all off. It will grow again. I see volunteer Love Lies Bleeding popping up, so there's another one that self seeds. The Purple Globe Allium is done. Next to bloom will be Oriental lilies followed by Asiatic.
The catmint has never put on such a show before either. The bees are loving it.

The Mock Orange bush is starting to bloom. This bush was a little piece I dug out from my mom"s before she died. It's huge now and always reminds me of her. We also had one in front of the house I grew up in in Chicago.
Peonies are just about done, Peas have flowers, a few tomato flowers and I just snipped the dying flowers off the chives.

My cucumbers and melon plants are starting to flower now. There isn't a single tomato plant w/o blossoms, and surprisingly, most of the peppers are flowering. The lime blush zinnia started flowering, and I took a photo of it, but it was so bright out that it looked almost white, in the photo.

Mock Orange is in full bloom. Some Marigolds, petunias and lots of tomato flowers. There is a day lily I took from my mom's house that is blooming. Kind of an orange yellow, and now the clover in the lawn is blooming. The honey bees are all over that. Good thing we don't have to mow the lawn yet.
