The pathetic tiny forsythia that I planted last year have 2 blooms on one plant. The other 3 plants just have leaves on them. My wisteria is getting bloom buds. It blooms before it puts out leaves. The wild Carolina jasmine is blooming. Saw some red buds full out the other day and a couple of tulip trees (a variety of magnolia).
I need to check my azaleas to see if the have buds. They usually bloom in March.

Wild Carolina jasmine! Now that caught my attention. I'm going to have to search it. I'm sure it wouldn't do well here, but I like the name. I bet it's beautiful.

Hey! My fall planted garlic is coming up. Crocus are blooming. Bees are flying and bringing in pollen. No clue where they are getting it. Maybe willows? Crocus?

Pussy willows are one of the first things to provide pollen for bees around here. The snowdrops are the first bulb to bloom and I sometimes seem them on those.

Daffs are just starting to poke out of the ground along the house foundation where the snow has melted. Still a big snow pile on the front perennial garden. May have to go out there and shovel it down a little.

We're finally on Daylight Sane Time. Soil temp is in the mid-50s. Peas and onions are in the ground. It's the start of the weekend, and it's six days until Spring. Baseball is being played. It's dark, and I'm wearing sunglasses. Hit it.

Binny's party at the Tiki Bar What's with the binny" party? I thought this started out being a goodbye for the old OG forum and just morphed into a little of the other? It's still about OG...okay? As long as it doesn't become a "goodbye for Binny" party...the garden would never get planted then
