We just had a good downpour too. Probably an inch.

Hoping binnylou is ok! I see tornado warning in her area. We had nothing from the systems this afternoon, all went around us. But dad got a couple good downpours. Definitely cooler out there.

Mumsey, just watching the weather move through. We had 7/10 inch from morning rain. We had a real good downpour a few hours ago…the kind that makes the gutters run over. Waiting for more.

We finally got a good heavy down pour earlier today, but it only lasted about 10 min. We are keeping our fingers crossed that we get some more from some of this stuff in the Gulf. We just don't need anything like some areas got from the Tropical Storm...please, no flooding.

The rain received today might be considered a crop saver…until the next dry spell. Farmers should be in better moods. Our last rain was 5/27. That may not sound like a long time, but we’ve had scorching temps to stress the crops.

The rain is coming down now! I can also hear the wind, and I hope that it isn't doing any damage. The radar shows it getting worse, before stopping.
It stopped fairly fast, and I got only .05" with that first storm front. Still more coming - a lot more, from what I see.

Finished with .15", with most of it going south. More tomorrow, but we'll see if there's more than today.

Severe storms forecasted from Binny’s area but they all but fizzled out before they got here. Not before winds picked up my wrought iron table and umbrella and dumped it over...windy indeed...we had just stepped inside because I expected it to start raining heavily. Picked it back up. Thanked my lucky stars.

52* this morning. Sun is shining, AC is turned off, windows are open, and there’s no road dust yet. My feet are cold, though.

I was going to turn the AC off today, due to the drop in temps, but the due point is only one point below the temp, so it is disgusting out there! So I'm staying closed up, and I might have to lower the temp, to get rid of the humidity. It's already drizzling some, but not heavy - I'll see if any of those heavy zones come through here later.
Update: Looks like it rained more than last night, but not much - stopped at .21". Getting cooler, but humidity still way up. I hope the rain keeps light, like this, until after I harvest the garlic, though the weather usually does not cooperate!

Promises of rain are empty. Looked like a good one coming. Dark sky. Wind. Sprinkled for 5 minutes. Done. More promised for tonight and Thursday. I’ll believe it when I see it.

It is down to 65° now, and the humidity is lower, too, so it's not uncomfortable. It's supposed to get into the 50s briefly tonight.

55 degrees and dew point of 50. Sweet. And it's almost July.
We'll get 2-3 days of this before returning to more normal conditions.

My low overnight was 54°, and mid 70s forecast for the high - about 10° under. I won't complain! Soon, we'll be back in the 90s...
