Our weather has been about ten degrees below normal for the past three weeks or so, does anyone else have similar weather?

Cold here, too, but should be in the seventies next week (sixties this week).

We've been above normal 5-10 degrees and then it drops back to normal for a spell.

getting a decent rain at the moment...but hoping it doesn't turn into snow by morning with the forecasted low of 32˚. Most of my plants are in a closet in the garage with fluorescent lights on, but I have over a dozen tomato plants that are outside covered with buckets. And in a couple of days, it will be back to 80.

Frost advisory this morning. Went out and covered some things and put straw over top of tomatoes.

I can see the frost on the grass in the next yard. Hubby says there is frost on the car windows. I brought in some potted annuals last night and covered a pot on the deck. I haven't planted anything in the garden except cabbage and broccoli and they are covered with netting,

No frost here for a good while, but May has been quite cool, except for those couple freak days in the 80s! Mid to upper 40s for lows - two more of those nights forecast - and about 10-12° below average highs, but starting to go up today, and Thursday is supposed to be around average. The tomatoes still went in on 5-1, and several varieties are growing well, and all have "greened up", getting really dark green since planting, even in just a couple of days. Next weekend looks like when the eggplants and peppers can start going in, which isn't really that late around here, for those.

No frost here as predicted. It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood! Slight breeze, low humidity. Uncovered everything from last night. It's on it's own the rest of the week as I won't be here to rescue it.

We've been under frost advisories for two nights, and again tonight. I don't think we've ever had these colder nights in May; our last frosts are usually in April. But Mom always waited until Memorial Day to set out her plants, so perhaps there were some cold nights when I was growing up and I just wasn't that attuned to them.
It is kind of nice to wrap up in quilts and comforters though; I like that sensation of snuggling into something warm when the house is chilly.

our last frosts are usually in April. But Mom always waited until Memorial Day to set out her plants, Your mom sounds like me! Our average last frost date is May 15 but I don't put out my warm weather crops or seed beans and squashes until the first week in June. When I first moved here I was told "the old timers say wait until early June" I didn't pay attention. When I lost my plants for the second time (by planting May 15-20) to frost, I learned my lesson. Those late frosts creep in even after a seductive couple of weeks of summer like weather.; even when the long term predictions say it will be warm enough to plant. I'm the old timer now and I teach the same thing.
