We’re still here. We had no damage that I know of, but house exterior is all clean as if it’s been power washed. More today, says the weather person.

We had rain overnight, but not severe storms. Warm and windy now. Rain expected later. I hope it holds off, my niece has prom today.

Thursday night it got down to 34° on my back thermometer, and last night it got down to 36°; one more below average day, around 62°, then it starts getting into the 80s, and staying in the 50s or 60s for the lows. Tomatoes will be hardening off soon!

It was a dreary day today. Heavy clouds , damp and windy. High was 51º after last night's low of 37. Woke up in the middle of the night to rainfall but it only measured .02 inch. Currently is 36º at 7:30 PM so will probably be a cold one tonight. Perhaps the cloud cover will keep it from going too low. All the fruit trees are in bloom and we could lose our fruit crop if it gets below 30º. Hopefully this is the last hurrah for cold snaps.

We're slowly pulling out of the cold snap that moved on 2 days ago.. Last night's low was 28º though, so the cloud cover did not protect us. Hard to say how many fruit blossoms survived . We climbed to 61º today, but clouds came and went, so mostly a chilly 61. Should be back to the low/mid 70s starting tomorrow.

It got to 90° here today - some areas a degree higher, for a local record. Not supposed to get nearly as hot tomorrow, and the next few days, but still in the 80s - well above the average of 69-70° at this time. Tonight, and the next two nights, have possible thunderstorms forecast, and some possible pea sized hail tonight - not like that large hail I hear about elsewhere, and don't wish on anyone! But these brief storms, with the the winds, are keeping me from planting the tomatoes, as well as other things.

We’ve had 3 inches of rain since Friday and overcast skies till this afternoon when the sun finally came out. To wet for much garden activity but the grass and weeds will be growing non stop.

Another hot day, getting to 86°, several degrees hotter than originally forecast. And tomorrow is now forecast for 80° - warmer than originally expected, but not as bad as today or yesterday. And maybe no rain tomorrow morning now, in this area, so maybe I can get started earlier on the tomatoes.

Nice day, so far - getting hot again, later, 87° forecast, though it's still just getting up to 72°, while I was out there. Not as much to do outside, so I'll catch up on things inside today. Tomorrow is supposed to be much nicer, only 72°, but Saturday is much cooler, and rain forecast for later Saturday, and most of Sunday, around an inch or so.

More rain this morning. Nearby community is hosting their annual 3 day Tulip Time festival, with today being the first day. Some scheduled events may be cancelled. I doubt they’ll need to do the street scrubbing event. I do hope the rains hold off. The community goes to so much work to welcome visitors.
