Overnight tornado warnings in our area …I don’t know if one touched down but nearby town had tree on cars damage. We lucked out..dumped 45/100” from the rain gauge. Yard turf is feeling spongy. Grass and weeds are lovin’ it.

Oh lordy- we had another low of 29 last night. We're having this yo yo affect where it starts to be warmer nights (low 40s) and then it drops again into the 20s. At this rate it's very possible I won't get my toms and chiles into the ground and summer crops seeded until mid June. It was a pleasant 71º high today, but with 15mph winds.

Wouldn’t you know it. All deck pots are done. Left them on sidewalk outside garage til deck is stained lol. Now severe storm warning. Just came in from moving most of them inside garage. The rest are under over hang and under a table. Threat of hail.

Last night's low was a tad warmer-- 34º and today's high was cooler at 65º with strong winds again. Very weird weather.

After going up to 88° yesterday, it is only supposed to get up to 71° today, and 54° Friday, with a low of 46°, and 64 and 61° for highs Saturday and Sunday. This is why I almost always plant the peppers on 5-15, or later sometimes. Now the gusty weather is forecast for Friday, so I'll have to delay the eggplants a little longer.

Cool, damp, overcast day. with a high of 63º after last night's repeated low of 34º. I had to wear a wool sweater while doing some things in the gardens. In May.

We had 1.75” last night. Most of it in an hour. The Princess isn’t even phased by storms. She was sprawled on the couch snoring!

Temperatures are forecasted to be 45° tonight, so essentially I need to prepare for 35° based on elevation. Only bringing geraniums and annuals inside. Peppers and tomatoes going into greenhouse with the heater.

Chilly chilly day. I had to pull out some warmer clothes (and my down jacket this morning). I thought we were done with that. Silly me. Last night's low was increasingly warmer at 42 and today's high was 62º but off and on cloudy and the humidity fluctuated between 54- 84% so it was a damp cold. I know. I know. Not too bad for those of you in moister climes but here, where our humidity is usually in the 10-20% range, this was miserable.

Dumped another 3/10” rain. I don’t know when it arrived 🤷♀️. Sometime after the most recent dumping.

Neighbor has a fancy weather station thing. They say we have gotten 2" rain per week over the last month.

It was 55° yesterday, raining much of the day, though not heavy, only .31" total. Nice today, but still cool - 66° high, and breezy, and getting cloudy around 5 pm, but no rain, until late in the evening and overnight, when it is getting down to 45°. Tomorrow is supposed to be another rainy day, and another day in the mid 50s, then another, even cooler night, which is why I left the eggplants to plant until Monday, when it looks like I can safely plant the EPs and peppers, and any other heat lovers.
