Rained on and off most of the day though the sun did peek out a few times. 1" so far and supposed to rain most of the week. On the other hand, my peas are finally growing and lettuce and spinach could be harvested again.

Thunder! First of the year!
It's a fairly hard vertical rain, very much in the fashion of summer. Bouncing off hard surfaces.

Tomatoes and peppers all come up Snuggled under lights in four-inch cups Everyone is happy, even the pup We just keep on smilin'... But we're 'bout to go insane Cause it won't stop pouring rain Hope our work won't be in vain Gotta keep on smilin'...keep on smilin'

Rain rain go away (even though we need it) It has been dank and wet for nearly 2 weeks...not sure if the end is in sight. I hope my peas and beet seeds don't rot.

Looks like rain for much of the day, which we do need, but I'm not sure how much I'll actually get - those heavy storms later on are sort of hit or miss, it looks like. Quite cool, in the mid to low 60s in the entire 10 day - not one of those days in the 80s, like I've been having!

I was afraid to look but forced myself and I found pea babies!! They didn't drown in the rain! Now I need to cover them so the resident rabbit doesn't find them!!

I got .35" of rain early today, which finally cleared up, though it still looked like it was going to start up later in the day. Tomorrow is supposed to be clear, Friday back to rain. Each night, it's in the high 40s - the reason I covered those peppers.

Possibility of overnight showers...I’d like it to fall on the veggie garden but pass by the flower garden. Can that be arranged?

It's back to summer-like weather and a bit warmer than normal. Was 80º today. Nights are still in the low to mid 40s. Normal is around low 70s and nights low 40s.

We will see temps in the 50s and 60s for the next seven days. Weatherman warns about planting too early. on a postive note the beet babies came through and did not drown either. But I planted some a little later...These are the goldem beets.....Keeping my fingers crossed

Temps are in the low 50s, gray and gloomy, threatening rain, blustery.
A good day for soup. And multiple layers of clothing. Hubby turned on the heat...I hear the creaking of baseboard heaters. $$$

Raining here. Not expecting much but 1/2” would be nice.
