7.5 inches rain? Wow, can't imagine it. Here in high dry Utah we get about 14 for a years total.

It's raining. Had 2 inches since Friday.
Hahahah Rain rate right now is claiming if it keeps coming down like this, we'll get 6 inches in an hour. Good thing it is already tapering off. Shoo. Hope it washed off my car windshield good.

And another morning round of rain left us .70 inch of rain. No watering today...probably not tomorrow either.

Total is now 8". A town 20 miles away got 13". We are dry now until the end of the week, then more storms move in. I'm certainly not needing to water celery everyday!

Yesterday, I made the decision to toss those unplanted tomatoes. I kept hoping they would show some new normal growth...wasn’t gonna happen. To the compost pile they went.
The main alleyway in the garden is accessible to the tractor. I’ve had a pallet with four bales of straw (under cover) sitting in the alley, blocking access, grabbing the garden hose all season. With hubby’s help, the pallet of straw has been relocated...now sitting elevated on concrete blocks. The mice 🐭 will love it. And I think hubby enjoyed using the tractor and toys.

The summer scorch has commenced, so I'm trying to be religious about watering, without overwatering. Dang peppers are still doggin' it, and they should be happier than anything out there.
Cukes are just starting to perk up, and by perk up I mean 3 inches tall.
Greens are starting to bolt, as expected.
Tomatos still look good. Supersweet 100 (grape) tomatos aren't quite yet overwhelming me, but they're on their way. I've got one slicer tomato turning orange.

The promised rain never arrived yesterday, only a 10 minute sprinkle. The humidity is very high when you sweat sitting in the shade!

It only rained enough this morning to raise the humidity - dew point 69° now. I only went out briefly, to check things, and picked 2 more cukes. Didn't stay out long. More rain later, and even higher humidity.
