That sounds soooo good. I can't wait till I've had my fill of home grown salad.

Absolutely pouring here. It just keeps coming. I hope all my tomatoes don't start splitting.

Picked my first 2 tomatoes today! Pink Oxheart. Was very surprised to see them. Usually don't get any til August 1! We can actually have BLTs now with garden lettuce. Still have romaine in the ground. Down to 3, but by cutting them off they send little side shoots that will be just as good.

the early girl bush plant has one getting getting close, and 2 others starting to blush....and the most advanced stupice one has one starting to get an orangey glow in the middle of the green.
stupice is suppose to be an early one - but it'll be august 1 or later before I get anything off the most of the other stupices, all seeded at the same time.
the cornell site has a review say they don't really produce early if the spring weather is wet and cold....so....yeah, that happened....
At this stage - I'm really worried about some critter getting that one ripening one out there lol! I might pick it soon jic. Later - I can be more daring.

I harvested a Boxcar Willie tomato. I love the taste. I posted a video review in my thread for you all.

Second Compari split but that's ok, it was still delish. I have an Early Girl starting a blush also. I spent part of the day pruning off leaves that were showing spots of blight.

Second Compari split but that's ok, it was still delish. I have an Early Girl starting a blush also compari is earlier for you than the early girl? I have an early girl bush, which I have heard, is not as early as the indeterminate version - likely on that cornell site I like to much....

Can't explain it. Those two were the only two ripe. Lots of green ones that don't even have a blush.

Very nice, third! and pa, nice looking boxcar willie.
I noticed some of my tomatoes do have weblike streaks on the underside of them. Is that part of BER? But it looks like it doesn't go into the tomatoes. Whaddaya think?

Got everything in the ground later than usual, so I'll need to wait a few more weeks before they start turning color, but the plants are loaded.
