We had a very light rain yesterday for maybe 5 minutes. Just a nuisance drizzle.

No teasing, Mumsey. We are currently getting rain, thunder, lightning along with the threat of hail. I doubt if accumulation amounts to much, but it might settle the dust.

On a warming trend. Last night's low was only down to 38º and today's high was 73º. If it could stay in this range all winter, I'd be one very happy woman.

Beautiful lower 70’s temps yesterday followed by a surprise, at least to me, thunderstorm late into the evening last night. Not much for accumulation and it should be finished in the next couple of hours. Then dry with temps in the mid 60’s for the today and the weekend.

A steady rain during the night. Bright sunshine now but a chilly 53*

Last night's thunderstorm left behind 25/100” of rain. More would have been nice, but this was appreciated.
Road dust was still an issue today as semi traffic was almost nonstop. I thought neighbor was done hauling grain, but the trailers looked to be hauling lime.
I’m glad I haven’t done the fall window scrub just yet.

Today was the 29th day in a row with no rain -tied the record for the area from sometime in the late 1800s. And no rain in the forecast, until Wednesday, and that's only 20% likelihood, which has been fizzling out. 2 or 3 degrees cooler than average, but starting to rise after tonight, back up to 81° by Halloween. Crazy weather...
UD - Got down to 38° last night - coldest night this fall, but no frost, due to the low humidity. Even the basil hasn't been bothered, and it's usually the first thing to go, before frost, but when it gets dewy in the low 40s - there just hasn't been any moisture! Supposed to be a few degrees above average today, and a few degrees higher every day, until the 81° Halloween.

74* with a good stiff breeze out of the southeast…and that means no road dust coming my way. It’s an excellent day for outdoor laundry drying. I’ll have to give garments a good shake to make sure all those lady beetles are not hiding, waiting for a trip inside.

It's 70* for an overnight low. Very strange....high wind advisory today. Any leaf work will have to be done this morning.

67* and a little breezy right now. Supposed to get windier and 80* later. End of October and 80* is crazy.

Our low last night was 50º- also very strange. The Fall/winter prediction is for a la nina pattern with warmer and drier conditions. We'll see. That was the same prediction for summer and we had a lot of rain into October.

Predicted high of 81* with winds of 25 mph, gusting higher. We are very dry…a perfect setup for a field fire. Luckily, most crops are in the bin in our area.

It didn't get as cold last night, as it did the night before (only 42°), but the temp dropped fast, as soon as the sun went down, dropping over 10° in less than a half hour. Maybe it's done this other nights, and I just didn't notice - today was trash day, and I was taking out some more trash last night and it was 53°, after I had been out when there was some light, and still about 65°. Today it is forecast to get to 71°, and low in the 50s.
