Well, it is still February! Just can't make up its mind. I'm wondering if I'm going to get one of those March snow storms - don't remember the last time that happened.

datgirl, I saw there were watches/warnings in Illinois. Strange indeed!! We may get a spattering of rain next Monday. Horribly dry here with fire watch over most of the state.

Mumsey, yeah it was crazy. Luckily it went a little further south and the northern suburbs didn't get hit as hard. We missed the hail and strong winds, but we got a lot of rain. Cold and sunny right now 15* going up to 45 later.

53º high today, sunny and no wind. Tonight's low should be around 30 and then we climb up to around 60 over the weekend. The long term prediction looks like it stays in the mid 50s to low 60s, with low 30s nights for the next 10 days.
March is coming in like a lamb. Does that mean it will go out like a lion?

It was below freezing this morning, when I left for Shop Rite, and there was just a small amount of frost, that I didn't have to scrape off. Temperature came up fast, and was above 40° by 9:30 am, from the intense sunlight, and is supposed to get up to 50° today, but then it is supposed to rain almost the entire day tomorrow, and start getting into the 60s for several days in a row, despite there being no sunlight, for the most part, in all of the week ahead, with more rain, eventually.

The rain started late last night, and just recently stopped, or at least slowed down to a mist, raining just over an inch and a quarter total. It is still 57°, and is only forecast to get down to 47° tonight - about our average high at this time! Next 4 days are supposed to get into the 60s, and not much cooler after that. And little sun in the ten day forecast.

Sunny and warm today, but horribly windy. I have things to do out there, but with tree trash falling from the sky, I’m staying inside today. We are under a red flag warning. It’s not only windy, but we are very dry. Mother Nature may give us a sprinkle tomorrow.

Sunny today, warm (67° high, as far as I saw), and almost no wind at all, so I got some things done out there today! Mostly cleanup, but I also did a few other things.

High today was 62º and last night's low was 29º. We're definitely in an early spring. Plants and trees sure think spring is here. Question is: will it last?

It was a virtual dust bowl at times yesterday! Got to 76*. Suggestions of rain today at 70%. I hope Mother Nature takes that suggestion seriously!

Rain dance!! It has been raining off and on all day with a couple nice downpours. Was going to walk, fell asleep and when I woke up it was raining again.

It was gorgeous here today!! Hit 68 officially, but felt warmer. Almost too warm (shades of temps to come. . .) In fact, we still have the front door propped open. Maybe if I close my eyes & click my heels together three times, I can get it to stay like this for awhile.

Another nice day here today, with more sun than was expected, but the clouds came in late in the afternoon, and the temp dropped quickly, from 67° to 58°. It's still not supposed to get much below what our high is supposed to be, at this time, in the mid 40s. More rain soon, and no more sun until maybe Friday.

Another glorious spring-like day. 59º was the high, last night's low was 29º. The skies were brilliant blue, and no wind. Perfect day for working in the gardens.
