Bermuda shorts day here. Currently 81. Predicted high 88. In a normal year, April 1 is the average date of the last frost, and it can snow in April. I'm keeping the house closed up to keep the cool in.

Right now I am hearing thunder, and it has already rained well over an inch. 50° out there, and very windy - I didn't really have anything to do out there anyway! lol

This is all we need. Severe weather on top of everything else. Tornado warning to the south of us, tornado watch until 9 pm. It's really windy, hard to walk. We walked straight into it for a mile up to the hospital. Much better coming home.

Well if the virus doesn’t get us tornadoes will. One spotted near dad’s. They didn’t know. Storms moving so fast it was over before they got to basement. Hail and wind for them. DD in Illinois is under a warning right now.
Really early in the season for this.

Windier than windy here. Constant, not like once in a while gusts.

We made it to 71° today so I was out there in shorts, hopefully didn't scare the neighbors. A front just came through and is dumping lots of rain and 1/4" hail, wind is gusting to at least 40 mph.
Here's the update - storm lasted less than 10 minutes, 68 mph wind gust recorded, temp dropped 20 degrees and the sun came out.

Raining every other day and more here. Need to wring out the chickens. Hard to put in early spring seeds, but more of a chance now I'm home every day than when I just had Sundays.

It's doing the same here - raining every other day! I have about 3" of water in a straight sided bucket out there, as an indication of amount, over this week. I put my self-emptying rain gauge out there today, with new batteries, in that part, and the indoor receiver, and set the date, and all that. I don't think I'll have to worry about the thing freezing, but I can always bring that part in, if there's a threat.

57* and sunny, barely a breeze. Last cup of coffee was on the deck with bare feet absorbing the warmth from the deck flooring.

Freezing rain did arrive in our area. Trees are turning in to crystal forests and icicles are hanging from the deck railing.
