Octave- I wasn't able to help train my beans up the support poles. It got away from me in my absence. Some are climbing up the poles but most are just climbing over each other in a huge mass about 2 ft off the ground. They are doing great and I saw my first pods a couple of days ago. I can't see all the flowers (and pods that may be forming) through that thick mass, but I am trusting they will do their thing and I will find dried bean pods as the leaves start to dry this fall.

My Fortex pole beans had extremely vigorous growth. When I ripped them out, some vines were almost 14 feet long. (Up a 7 ft trellis, down to the ground again.)
