This is the first time I have had garden lettuce and tomatoes at the same time for BLT's! We are in for a treat tonight. Along with fresh sweet corn that showed up in town yesterday, locally grown.
We have had another truck selling for a couple weeks, but it comes from far away. And I have seen the guy sitting in his truck counting his money when there were no customers. Tacky. I won't buy from him. He once had "free" eggplant. It was soft and yucky. Told him pigs wouldn't even eat it. He said he didn't know much about eggplant.
I simply wait for the best local stuff.
On with the BLT's!

I am envious, mumsey. That sounds so darn good. No local corn here, yet, either.

Done ate it all. The 2 of us ate 6 ears of corn and 2 BLTs each!
Night-night! Very sleepy right now!
