The U.S. Postal Service celebrates summer produce favorites with four new forever stamps. Vintage produce advertising, inspired by 19th- and early 20th-century crate labels, seed packets, and catalogs. Only .49 cents each. Now available at your local Post Office or USPS.com .

They are too pretty to use. I think they would look kinda cool framed.

Wonderful! I have loved produce crate and seed packet art ever since I was a young man working in the wholesale produce business. There are many websites devoted to it all. Gorgeous stuff. I'm going to the Post Office Monday to get some of those.

I like small things. Actually I have seen framed postage stamps in a home I visited years ago. They were sport stamps, I think Olympics and they were framed in groups of four stamps to a frame. It was actually an interesting display.

The stamps are a cool design. But I very rarely use stamps. Maybe I will go get some anyway.

restless- they are *Forever* stamps, so even if stamp prices go up you will not have to worry about what price you paid for them. They are good forever!

Now if they only could flavor the backs to match the front...

Cute! I love interesting stamps. Nothing against the flag, but I do try to find other things for variety.

Yeah, I know...but I already have two books of forever stamps...one standard flag design, one winter design. I think I might use 3 stamps per year. Maybe I should buy these neat stamps and then vow to send holiday cards this year to justify my purchase.
