I don't think I have had time to even look at this board for a couple of weeks!!
Garlic is in - decent harvest and it is drying on the front porch
Potatoes are in - the potato beetles killed the green plants, so while I have a good sized crop, the potatoes are smaller than usual. Tastey though!
Onions are pretty close to ready - I will be pulling them in within the next few days.
Zucchini - not even sure what happened!! The cold, then the heat, then the dry, then the squash bugs. I had a few fruits which all rotted, so I have just planted a second crop in the empty garlic bed.
Peppers - slow, slow, slow. The cayenne and jalapeno are putting out fruit, bell peppers seem to have completely failed.
Broccoli - completely eaten by the cabbage moths
Cabbage - harvesting now, just bringing in a head at a time to eat (because I am DONE with sauerkraut!!!)
Tomatillos - growing well, have no idea when they will be ready
Grape tomatoes - delicious, have yet to have a single one make it to the house!!
Tomatoes - also slow, and kind of funny looking. I really need to keep better records so I know what they are - they don't look like anything I think I planted!!
Carrots - total failure, don't even know why
Lettuce and spinach - small crops, delicious, done
Bok choy - done
Hakurei turnips - done
Green beans - I did bush beans this year, did not do well and I am going back to pole beans next year.
Blackberries - I got a few this year before the squirrels got to them
Apples - so far, so good. Reasonably sized crop - need to put some covers on the fruit before the birds/bugs get to them
Apricot - 1 fruit, the first one in five years - Woo hoo!!
Loofahs - just a few fruits, not sure what to expect but they are a beautiful vine! I'll have to take some pix.
