After spending 6 hours working outside, decided to lolly-gag around (with beer in tote) and snap some shots: Hosta garden: Grass garden, the tree is the one that was blown down a year ago. It is growing a new "top", though weak. Won't let it get out of hand. The grasses are not growing as quickly as they should. Just a shot from the corner of the yard: And guess who had to join the fun: Another shot of part of the garden. It's flowers on both ends, tomatoes along 2 sides, broccoli and zuke in the center, with some cabbages scattered about. Herbs are all in there too. That's it folks!

Beautiful, as always.
Are those the "cantaloupe" lilies? (in the last pic)

The ones on left are daylilies, don't know the name but they certainly are cantalope color with darker centers. The ones on right are Asiatic lilies, also don't know their name!

OK, I see the day lilies now (my vision is still compromised)
But are the asiatic the ones you were showing us in the other thread that you described as sort of cantaloupe or melon color?

Very nice. I like the free form shape of the beds. Your doggie is pretty, too.
