Well the package said either cabbage or cauliflower or broccoli... I started them, and then set them out, not bothering to keep track as I was sure I would know the difference between those 3.
I did see some little tiny grasshoppers, but it has been cold and wet here, so that is supposed to help with those buggers. But something got under that netting and ate quite a few leaves.

Those buggars ATE thru my floating row covers...I applied the nolol but it's raining again so I'll have to reapply again. it is amazing how they have devastated an entire bed, and parts of others. I have tomatoes that have been eaten so much that they are only 8" tall...still. Others are 3'..they level my beans..love green shoots. maybe I'll try growing mizuna in a row near the bean shoots..they hate that stuff.
