I cannot get over how huge the hostas are. There will be some dividing going on this Fall. And the catmint is out of this world! It loves that hot, dry spot.

So photobucket is giving me fits today! I just edited the above and added the catmint pic. It worked this time.

That catmint is so pretty.
I mentioned in the other thread that PB can be a bit quirky but once you learn its quirks, it gets a lot better. I almost gave up on it at first.

oh my goodness, that catmint is absolutely gorgeous! dang!
I love up here in Oregon, vs. san diego, how many people plant things that bloom at staggered times - crocus in feb, daffs in march... etc.... so cool always something of interest to look at.
how long does that catmint bloom?

Mumsey, do you have problems controlling the catmint?
Mine gets so huge (I just have one) and reseeds. I've gotten close to digging it out but leave it because it is a good drought tolerant plant and they are beautiful to look at.. But sometimes......

Not too much trouble controlling it, a few seedlings here and there but easy to pull out. It's so thick that the seedlings don't have a chance under all that!
And it blooms all season, though not like you see it now. If I trim it back some, it will bloom more. Even without trimming it will send out maybe 1/4 as many as you see now. They are very drought tolerant and that is the hottest/dry part of the yard.
