My sister-in-law has this growing in her yard. Is it possibly yellow passion flower vine? I looked at some photos online and the leaves look to be similar. The flower, however, does not look like any pictures I have seen. Flower opened since yesterday and is about a half an inch so far. Any ideas? There are Brown-Eyed-Susans blooming amongst it.   |

Don't know what it is, but it is definitely NOT any type of Passion Flower vine.

When a flower opens fully, get a good picture of it to help with ID.

It looks like a cucurbit - palmate leaves, tendrils, 5-merous. You're right! It does look like a cucumber in both leaf & flower. |

After trying to grow them for several years, finally had success last year. Produced a lot and my grandchildren picked and ate almost every one. |
