Mumsey, can’t say that I’d be interested in that color for a petunia (or a petunia cross). I’m partial to the deeply saturated colors…mainly stuck on the purple Wave from Pinetree. Pale yellow is fine for roses, dahlias, marigolds, and snaps. I must have a petunia hang up.

Oh I love bright yellow flowers! I think I’ll get the seed. My deck needs a bright flower. It is so sunny that even geraniums struggle with a daily watering. I spent $21 (choked )on 3 black petunia plants and gave 2 to my daughter who LOVED them. I liked them too, I was glad that I got them because they were hardy and really held up.

Oh wow, a petunia and calibrachoa hybrid? That sounds like a super cool mash-up, like a botanical remix! I hear you on the sticker shock, though – both of those plants can definitely run your wallet a bit thin, and it sounds like this petchoa is no exception. Bummer about the yellow being the only seed color on the lineup. Yellow's cheerful and all, but a whole rainbow would be way more fun, right? It’s kinda like wanting to paint your room but only having yellow paint. Seeds being pricier is a drag, especially when you're dreaming of splashing other colors around your garden. Maybe keep an eye out; they might roll out more shades in seeds if the yellow ones catch on. Fingers crossed they get the hint and start mixing up the palette!

Mumsey, did you start the seed? How many days to bloom? The site doesn’t say.
