I transplanted 4 of the volunteers and gave them their own fence. Much prettier than the Orange morning glory. So next year I'll just transplant volunteers! That's a hydrangea behind it, I purposely put the Cypress Vine there for a little afternoon shade.

Love the star shape, too. What length do they get to? Mumsey,

desertwoman. They easily get to 10 ft. I turn them to go back down the fence.

We keep it in an isolated plot of it's own, it's really perty and the butterfies and hummingbirds are fond of it. Cypress Vine growers, be aware that it freely re-seeds and scatters far and wide and forever. The seeds stay dormant yet viable in the ground for a long time.

Also be aware that it is toxic to dogs, cats and horses. People, too.

The seeds stay dormant yet viable in the ground for a long time. I hadn't let any grow for 5-6 years and they still show up.
