Kinda related. I was out in the garden just puttering when I stopped by the cucumber trellis to check them. Now the trellis is not very high, about eye level. So I look up and there are my favorite garden clippers/scissors. I don't remember putting them there, and have been walking around the garden and this is the first time I've seen them there. Glad I found them before I went to go use them and couldn't find them.

Yesterday couldn't find my phone. Called it from the landline, but not a ring to be heard. Thought about when I last answered it. My friend called to see if he could use the washer. I was in the chicken coop gathering eggs when I answered. Went out and there it was, sitting on a roosting bar with the chickens settled in for the night next to it. Wonder if I should check if they made any calls.

Can't find one of my favorite Copco water bottles! It's usually in the car. I've looked everywhere. It must be in Dad's garden somewhere........or in the quarry. That's the last place I remember having it.

A friend told me that her husband found a pair of her reading glasses inside a bag of chips. She of course had no clue how they got there. edit: Of course maybe that wasn't true, and he is just trying to drive her crazy - which wouldn't take much, lol.

I found my trowel! I found my trowel! There I was standing in front of the stove making one of my massive veggie omelets when what is that I see inside that box of jars? Could it be? Nah, that box has been by the cabinet for a month or two. On closer inspection I discover that it is indeed my garden trowel. The jars were wrapped and put in that box last fall and evidently I'd set the trowel along the side for some reason and it had slid down inside before I carted them to the shed. I brought the jars inside when I did the beets a while back. Mystery solved and hopefully I don't lose it again before the end of the season.
