Looking to invest in one of these babies. Don't see many cordless though. Anyone have one and what's the best one? I remember talking about it somewhere here in the past, but can't seem to find it!
I'd prefer cordless, but most I see are electric. I imagine they would use lots of battery power doing the mulching thing.
Any preferences?

See if Stihl has any out yet. They have been coming out with a lot of new toys, even an electric riding lawn mower. I bought a Stihl tiller and trimmer and am really impressed with both.

I have a cordless Worx, but it is not a powerful model, and I just use it for everyday things (they do have more powerful models, that can also be used for vacs, but I've never used them), but come autumn, I have to use the electric Toro. Much more powerful than the cordless, plus it has a metal fan, which is something they don't all have, and something you should look for. When using it as a vacuum, those plastic fans can get broken.

Mine is an electric Toro blower/vac-shredder . I've had it for years (at least 10) and it is still going strong. It has a metal impeller. I've been very pleased with it.

desertwoman, I must have gotten the same one! It has metal impeller and looks really sturdy, not thin metal at all. Still can't believe it was only $89.
