Over the past several years I've seen photos like this of other topiary exhibitions at Montreal, but I think the first one in the series is just so incredibly beautiful and complicated that it's comparable to any painting by a master artist.

Beyond the artistic design and beauty, what I love is the theme - an earth mother (?), goddess (?), intermingled with animals and other creatures. It's a masterpiece in blending human, nature and animal interaction. I find it so peaceful, calming and meditative, and yet so inspiring that I'm already dreaming of how to create something even basically comparable. Maybe I'll start with the grass first - that's probably as far as I would get.
Truly, these are masterpieces.
The 8th, 10th and 12th photos are another example of a human and wildlife existing peacefully.
Lat, see the ninth photo. Wouldn't this be a great tribute to your garden - just like your avatar!
A fish, anyone? See No. 16.
If you're really captured by the magnificence of these photos, go to the Exhibition's website (www.mosaiculturesinternationales.ca/en/) and wander through some of the YouTube videos of past entries:

Ring tailed lemurs, frog, bees, butterflies, sheep, even a beekeeper, Akita (?) (minus the characteristic tail), piano, moose mother and calf, rabbits, foxes, bison and more. There's something for everyone in that video!
NOTE: I watched so many portions of videos and found that sometimes the videos followed each other immediately and I got the wrong URLs. I've spent quite some time trying to sort out the right ones, but may have made some mistakes, but at least the ...BEY one is a starting point.
One of the videos was is a 25 minute video; what I plan to do, with a nice cup of hot chocolate, is note the time location in the video of the various creatures so I can go back later.
Seeing these photos REALLY motivates me!
