I received mine a few days ago and I have to say how much I love it. Really a nice magazine. Lots of good information from lettuce to yoga and great food and recipes. I hope this first magazine represents what the future magazines will be like.

I don't have mine yet but have high hopes for it as I'm interested in all those good healthy things.

When you get it, I'm interested to know what you think about it.

I actually can say that I will not be renewing my subscription.
When I first subscribed, it was for the gardening content. Growing up, when my dad was a subscriber, it was for the gardening content. I have absolutely no interest in recipes, the history of walking, or yoga. It is no longer a gardening magazine, and since that is what I am wanting, I won't be reading many of the issues remaining on my subscription other than a cursory glance through the pages.

I feel the same as berrygal. If I want to deepen what I know about yoga, I'd read Yoga Journal; recipes from cooking magazines, etc.
I subscribed, originally, because it was a great organic gardening magazine. I subscribed until the articles became fluff pieces and were no longer teaching me. I get far more info here with all of you.
I don't need an "organic lifestyle" journal. I've been living that for decades. I'm sure it has appeal for many people. I'm just not interested in a journal/magazine that tries to touch on a lot of different things. I don't see how they will do any subject real justice.

Berrygal - I read somewhere that you can cancel your remaining issues and get a refund but I have to say that I really like it too.
I only got mine 2 days ago so I have not finished it but I could buzz through the OG magazine in just an hour or so. Too much about landscaping that I was not interested in.
ROL is about living an organic life, not just gardening although I was pleased to see quite a few gardening articles so far. I am finding so much more to read in ROL than I did in OG and I do like the recipes and cooking info. The new ROL does have quite a few ads but I am not minding them. They do have to make money after all to stay in business when so may people read everything on their phones and computers.
I have not totally formed my opinion yet but this new ROL seems much more like Mother Earth News which I also like.
I like the variety in ROL. I know quite a lot about gardening already so I enjoy learning some new and different things that "organic people" do.

What is ROL? I googled it but nothing about a magazine.
