This Colorado Blue Spruce lost its main leader to deer damage. It appears to be wanting to produce two new leaders, which I do not want. I think the branch on the right should be the leader. What would you do with the branch on the left? Prune it just above the two side branches? Prune it directly below the side branches? Ignore it and let it do what it wants?
I was amazed how quickly these two branches started growing upward once I removed the damaged original leader

Looks like there's already a prune cut? (bottom middle)
If you don't want 2 new leaders, I'd be inclined to prune it as low as you can go.

Looks like there's already a prune cut? (bottom middle) That is where I removed the damaged main leader. The deer damaged it and it was not going to recover. I haven't made the cut on the left "wanna be leader" branch. Still pondering, but need to do it soon.

I made the cut, further down the branch than I originally planned. Thank you, desertwoman. There is no doubt concerning who will be the leader.
