I still can't plant mine...the last of the snow is finally off the beds ...but rain is expected tomorrow...but then a couple of days of spring weather!

Ha! I went out today to check the peas. I had gloves on and was ready to start digging with my fingers to see what was going on below the surface and lo and behold I saw a tiny green sprout. I looked a little further and saw another one.
Then I found a pea that must have been sitting on the surface and it had a tiny root coming out so after tomorrow's rain I fully expect to see peas.

Most plants pop up about a day after I am ready to give up!

I have sweet peas in 2 spots, snow peas in one. This am, I sprinkled the innoculant and watered in.
I did notice that one of the sweet pea areas is much higher, although the snow peas popped up first. This is an area where I have grown peas before and it likely inoculated at some point previous. Plus nearby to some sweet peas that have been growing since I got the house 10 years ago....maybe it is the micro-action, maybe just better soil? But anyhoo, maybe some of the inoculant will work its way in. I'll sprinkle a bit more water on them before I leave for work. Worried if something doesn't penetrate the dirt, the sun will kill them today.....maybe I should have done it in the evening?

oh - maybe I will keep sprinkling and watering all the innoculant packet, and then just plant the beans in the same area.
