I did too (eat asparagus, that is). I am impressed by their size. They were 2-yrs crowns when I planted them in 2014. Now the spears are almost as thick as pencils already. I know I should not harvest any, but I had to sample a couple of them out there, in the garden. They are delicious! I'll plant more, I want to grow as many as I can!

Well, I was going past the seed store, so I stopped in and picked up a bag of 25 asparagus roots, so when this snow gets off I will go plant them. Maybe I can have some cuttings next year? (I did have a few crowns, but not nearly enough)
