I have said in the past that I've seen where they either sponsored events for our FFA members or they would pay the transportation for some of the FFA members to go to far away events. Well, yesterday in our local paper....they had made a $2500 donation to our "Hope House", a charity that helps pregnant women and helps with parenting. So little by little....they put good will & $$ into communities and then they aren't seen as such a "bad guy"!
Everyone keep your eyes open and see what happens in your communities that is PR for the chemical companies.

Doesn't surprise me how underhanded they can be.

2500 is a drop in the bucket for them. Change. Rides and chump change is offensive. It's sad that the communities get duped like that. Wish I could say they are being so kind, but how about 2,500,000? Imagine what that could do for Hope House and other similar groups. And it is certainly something they could afford.
