Oh WOW! Making my mouth water. I know. I'd love to have a couple of big slices of the Brandywines.

That just shot me into summer! ahhhh
I only eat home grown tomatoes, so I am so ready for a fresh tomato.

Looks like you have the picture thing figured out (except for the tiny avatar).
Those look beautiful.

Do you have the file for your avatar stored on your computer? I fixed mine in webresizer to a size of 300 x 300 and now it looks square. Originally it was a rectangle.
You can fix your file in webresizer and then save it back to your computer. Then make a new avatar with the newly re-sized photo.

thanks brown, I'll get right on that..right after I muster up some more courage. I'm really not very computer literate.I was looking through the things this laptop has on it and I'm amazed. I don't use any of that stuff, so I just stay stupid. I've been thinking about changing my avatar to something else...possibly my graduation photo...maybe one of my favorite flowers....

Give webresizer a try. It's really easy for avatars.
Just click on the link I provided then click resize photos here and then browse to select a picture from your computer, then click upload image and it will be resized. Then click download this image and it will get saved back to your computer in the Downloads file.
Don't click on the green Download Now button as that is for a free application for zip files.
I was confused at first because I thought that it would go back to the pictures folder where it came from but it goes to downloads. You can move it from downloads back to your pictures folder.
The new file will say opt in the file name meaning optimized so you can tell it apart from the original file.
I hope this helps.

Okay, I put on my big girl panties and took another try at this resizing thing. I think I got it bigger, but the focus is worse. I need to find the original or take another pic. It has been played with a lot. thanks.

Thank you binnylou for the inspiration! I just got seeds started a few minutes ago in a greenhouse I bought from Walmart. Lets see how soon they sprout. I'm late I know, but life happened lol

Looks like you figured out the resizer binny but unfortunately it's like making a copy of a copy of a copy. It loses sharpness over time.
When you find an original photo you will know how to do it now for an avatar.
