Potted a new Dipladenia today, a Mandevilla relative. We had a Mandevilla and a Bougainvillea on our porch for a few years, and they were spectacular, while they lasted. I'm jealous of you folks out west who grow them perennialy. My Mother-in-law (she of the green thumb) grows Dipladenia every year. They are awesome.

wheelgarden1, Love them! I got some for $4 each this year, pretty small but they have grown into beautiful pot plants. They are the shorter bush version. Love the intense red. Not perennial here.

lilolpeapicker , The mandevilla is the one is the center of the 3. It's in a 12" pot. I'm hoping it will make seed, it will be fun to try and grow them. Pic is kinda fuzzy, will try to get a better one today.

lilolpeapicker, All the Big Box stores here have the plants. Got mine at Home Depot. Big ones in big pots are way pricy, which I why I opted for the small one. Some are bush type, some are vine type. Mine is bush type.
