It rained just over 4" here - it was raining at 5:30 am, when I woke up briefly, and finally stopped shortly after 3 pm. I put my straight sided bucket out in the open, in my garden, and it caught about 4 1/8" - almost everywhere around was over 3", at least, with many higher. Very windy again, and same tomorrow, but cooler - only 51°, while today was 57°, which is a little above avg. Tonight and tomorrow night are the last two around freezing, and each day getting a little warmer. Not as many rainy days as they were originally predicting, but then, I don't worry about these things until I'm planting the tomatoes, eggplants, and peppers out there, and I haven't even planted the seeds yet! Almost time, however...

Normally I'd be miffed at the 2"+ rain we got this morning, which is normally hay pickup morning, but after several days of rather too-close-for-comfort wildfires in our area, it was a blessing.

Got up to 58º today but was overcast all day. It was perfect working in the gardens weather. Not too hot. Not too cold. Last night's low was 44º- the warmest low this year! A cold snap is arriving tomorrow, for a few days, with some rain/snow.

Our new forecast calls for 2-5" snow today, switching over to rain and warmer temps tomorrow. Winds to 50 mph to top it all off. March looks like it's going out like a 🐅.

It’s 35 degrees with rain moving in by noon, a good day for domestic duties, repotting and maybe even some seed planting.

Like a fox? Like a tiger? Like a dog? Tiny emoji opens up possibilities. Just would like it to go out like Spring.

Friday we ended up with 7 inches of heavy wet snow. All gone already. 37* and cloudy with a chance of rain later. In the 50's the rest of the week. I hope so.

After all that rain yesterday, there were hardly any clouds in the sky today, though it took quite a while for the wind to die down. It was still colder than average - barely got to 50° - and I waited until about 3:30 pm to go out for very long. Another below freezing night forecast, and still below average tomorrow, but then slowly going up, later in the week...along with more rain.

As predicted, we had a rain/snow mix, off and on all day. There would be moments of a snow dusting on everything and then a melt off from the rain drizzle. It was so light, however, that the total measure was .04 inch. More of the same tomorrow.

Woke up to a light dusting of snow. Prediction is for 1-3 inches over the rest of the morning. I'm doubting we'll get that much.

Nope. Nothing near 1-3 inches. But it was an interesting day. That morning dusting melted off with rain drizzle. Then we had two different rounds of snow, with big flakes and enough accumulation to almost completely cover things. Almost. Then a high of 40º and some more intermittent drizzles melted the snow all off. Twice more. More of the same predicted for tomorrow.
