Has anyone here propagated ocotillo from cuttings? If so, how long until they root? Thanks!

Several weeks up to to a few months. Don't over water (light water 2x/month is usually enough.) And a good tip is to let the cutting 'scab over' on the ends, for a couple of weeks, before planted, in warm dry air (not hard to find in your new home).
btw... do you have wild javelinas wandering around?

I did read that when planting, the south side of the original cutting should face south as it has developed resistance to the stronger sunlight received there, so mark the orientation when you harvest the cutting for planting.

btw... do you have wild javelinas wandering around? Yup! Coyotes, bobcats, pronghorn antelope, deer as well.
