Kids are also far more susceptible, as their bodies are smaller and the concentrations have a more potent effect.
A couple of days ago I listened to an interview with the attorney representing Dewayne Johnson, who just recently sued and won their case against Monsanto.
Something he said caught my attention, that I had not heard before. He noted that the defense (for Monsanto) purposefully was stating that glyphosate does not cause cancer (rather than saying Round Up) He said it is not glyphosate, alone, that is the big problem; that it is glyphosate along with a cocktail of (I think he said 5) chemicals that is in Round Up that creates a synergistic effect making RU more carcinogenic.

This doesn't surprise me at all. Most processed food has glyphosate. We as adults don't have to worry about it because we have already developed, with the exception of pregnancy, but I do also hope by staying away from those foods that our health is better than if we consume them. But children are still developing and it is troublesome knowing that it is in food directed at them at all!

pepperhead212, desertwoman, lilolpeapicker, And children born in the last 25 years or so have been subjected to it since birth or before! It has even been detected in breast milk and some research says it can shorten pregnancy. Us old people are at an advantage since we didn't have this the first decades of our lives, it's the kids and future generations I fear for.

Remember the promises from the manufacturers of these poisons that there was no way they could enter the food chain?
There did not seem to be much tenor raises when the EPA found traces of glyphosate in our drinking water and the manufacturers claimed there had to be some errors.
Is there not a better reason to adopt the Precautionary Princip0le?
