Idk what happen but I now have a big black spot on my cauliflower head and its only about the size of a tennis ball

Blight? Mold?
In what area do you live? Has it been rainy, damp?

I live in live oak,fl and yes it had been rainy, cold (2 day hard freeze lowest temp was 23°) foggy, and high humidity 80-100% seeds were planted Aug 23 if I knew how to post a picture I would

1. Sure does sound like a recipe for mold to grow, especially if the plants are close together and there's not much aeration between them.
I think I would either cut out the black spot or cut off the head before the mold spreads. You might just lose that head completely, but it would be better than allowing the mold to grow and spread.
However, there may be other ways to stop it; others here have more experience growing cauliflower than I do, so perhaps other suggestions for saving the head from mold will be posted.
One option is to gamble on removing the entire plant, putting in a food-safe container, and putting the container temporarily in a place with more ventilation. But the plant might not survive, so that really is a gamble.

Brown, I agree - I actually copied that from the old OG Forum as all my photos are on my old computer and I didn't feel like setting it up, but will try to resize it. Thanks for the reminder!
