This is weird. Every time Princess sits to scratch her neck/ears with back leg, she farts!
Will have to ask the vet about that at our next visit!

Sophie my German shepherd is a farter. When she is inside and totally relaxed, she lets em rip. No shame, no hiding it.
Then she has the nerve to look at me with the puppy dog eyes. I swear if she could talk, she would blame them on me hahaha

Does the dog food have corn and soy in it? That might be worth looking into.

I know a person who teaches yoga. She says that one reason she plays music in her class is to mask the sound of the people in the room farting. She says it is common for gas to be expelled in one way or another when we fold ourselves into positions that compress our torsos. Maybe that is what happens to your dog. He is compressing his torso when he scratches his ear with his rear paw.

I don't think her food is the culprit, it better not be! It's isn't cheap and it's grain free. Though she does love raw veggies and gets a great big carrot for "dessert" every night! Plus a few green beans when we are out picking.
The yoga thing sounds like a plausible explanation.
