Happy Valentine's Day to you too Red. I like the snowy heart!
Snow is supposed to start here in 2-3 hours and then the wind will arrive with a vengeance.

Yes - HAPPY VALENTINES DAY
Had a lovely lobster dinner last night & am planning on enjoying an equally lovely cheese fondue dinner tonight. Hubby gifted me with a dozen long-stem organic dusty rose/lavender roses & a Tartan plaid flannel nightgown from L.L. Bean, which will be even more appreciated than the roses with the sub-zero wind-chill weather headed our way.

Took the man out to breakfast (his favorite meal), entertained my daughter and her boyfriend's family for lunch, and spent the afternoon in the garden (12 degrees this morning, 50 degrees this afternoon!). I shredded three barrels of leaves and mulched some new raised beds, added the uprights for row covers and trellises in the new beds. Now I am tired and sore and am going to sit around eating many many chocolates this evening!! That is a bang-up Valentine's Day in my book.

Well the plan is yours truly will prepare a seafood dinner for me and the GF. Then I"ll pour myself a glass of wine (she doesn't imbibe), we will curl up on the sofa and watch TV together...until she stretches and digs her claws into my legs.

Happy Valentine's Day to everyone. Lat, I got a big laugh out of your post, the part where she stretches and digs her claws into your legs. I thought wow, aggressive girlfriend, right out of 50 Shades of Gray.........hahaha

Our feline gang have expensive tastes & know when we're having lobster. Both of us have leg scratch marks from the begging last night - lol!

Ya, Bella definitely has me wrapped around her tail. Eeyore on the other hand scares me that I might become a cranky cantankerous old curmudgeon...like him.

LOL Lat!
Had to work yesterday, we were gonna have steak, etc. and open a fancy bottle of Silver Oak wine that DS gave us for Christmas. But decided to wait until DH's birthday later this week.

Even though we had our "traditional" V-Day lobster dinner on Friday night, last night I made us a nice Gruyere & Jarlsberg cheese fondue, which we enjoyed with a cubed-up baguette made by our local artisanal butcher/gourmet shop. Bottle of bubbly to go with. It was a nice meal for an absolutely FREEZING evening.
