Oh to hell with this new software. won't accept the IMG tags. I don't know how to post a picture........................................ the procedure was changed, a different kind of link is copied, as brownrexx said, the IMG, then pasted right into the post area.

Thanks all, the fence comes from the Iron guy who comes to Richmond to the Maymont Herb Festival once a year from Ohio (or Kentucky, he is near the border somewhere I think.) I buy one or two sections a year. He has great stuff!

Oyster Plant, Goatsbeard, Salsify, Tragopogon, by whatever name ........ yes!

The Oyster Plant was introduced into North America by early settlers as a food plant. It has since spread and become a common weed in many waste areas and along roadsides. The root and young greens are edible. The root has a flavor similar to oysters, hence the name.
