It is gigantic. It is like those things that you see at quarries. The tires are taller than my hubby who is 6 feet tall. I wish I had a pic.

My Market is outdoors on Saturday and produce can only come from LOCAL. Maximum distance is 50 miles away. Must be Organic.
Another market here can ship in produce. That one is bigger, and the prices are just as high. And it doesn't have to be organic, I don't think?
James, you are selling your garlic too CHEAP! Did you have competition?

we have a farmers market "Saturday market" that is open all year long here Saturday only, small 36 booths, and many are doubled - so more like 20. I rent there in December when someone is on vacations. there are more crafts in the winter, and more veg in the summer it's cool because you get to truly see "what is in season" some have greenhouses etc, so they get stuff early or late etc.
we also have the one thats big, in a parking lot, with portable roofs, folding tables - sat. only-...that's april to October. only a couple organic growers, and a few that are 'all natural' / not certified.

Our Gardener's Market is an outdoor thing from May through October. On Saturday Morning, downtown Logan Utah, Court House Lot. Last I looked we had 18 vendors. Maybe half of those sell fresh veggies, one sells meats, the others sell a variety of homemade goods. One cooks breakfast, pancakes and eggs etc. We always have a musical bunch playing music. It is a fun time for all, come, have breakfast, socialize, look around and buy fresh goodies.

Our market is local only, as well, but it allows both cert. organic, pesticide free, and conventional.

There are several around the Capital Region, which is Albany, Schenectady, and Troy. There are 2 that I go to mostly and they are similar. There are several vendors varying from conventional fruits and vegetables to certified organic growers to wine and natural skin products, locally made peanut butter of several varieties. There are always hot food vendors mostly Greek or Indian food. And there is music playing every week from lots of different bands.
