I have been striking out on searches for rhododendron fastigiatum inside the USA. (I can't shop for British rhodies-or at least the plant police won't let me).

I don't know of a specific seller, but I know that rhodies are grown a lot in northern parts of Oregon- Salem and further north. Maybe you could do a search for that area?

Rhododendrons are quite popular in the Philadelphia area and suburbs. My landlord has one planted in the flower bed in the front of the house where I plant my herbs. I don't have a specific seller name either, but maybe that will help you locate one.

My problem looks to be, that I have outlived the few folks who grew this tiny shrub in-nursery.
Wandering around on web sites, that the owners have passed on is a little creepy.

If there is such a thing as ghosts, then my fathers shade must be spinning like a top today. I am now the proud owner of three gallons of over-ripe, frozen, vinagery, persimmon. Once it is fully cleaned they should complete my shopping for tree and ornamental seed for give away this winter.
