My June garden. Most of the plantings are drought tolerant or drought resistant. A few, like the roses and strawberries, need twice a week watering.

Red- day lilies are native in Asia and grow wild along roadsides. They get a lot more pampered here-which they do fine with (just not too wet)- but are a great drought tolerant plant, once established.

Yes it is. It's a grey water drain from our wishing machine, that waters some trees/

Sometimes you have to watch what you wish for (or pray for).
On the news, I saw a sign in a Texan's front yard that said "Pray for Rain" right before the recent excessive rains.
I'll bet that sign ended up in the trash!
