One day, and this plant looks strikingly different. Must have had a lot of moisture on the leaves yesterday, that I could not detect? Isn't it amazing how tall the plant looks today, versus yesterday? Yes the angle of the pic is different, but it did not look like this yesterday from any angle:

I have lots of little mulleins popping up all over my flower beds but none are as big as that. Glad you are enjoying it.

mullein gives me the eeby geebys, because I use it in my "tub tea" mix, and my herbal sports balm, it is nasty to inhale or get in your mucus membranes, eyes, skin when dried. I have first hand experience!
<<<gives a vigorous shake --- ack

I never looked for this plant before. Never paid one bit of attention.
Then Gardendmples showed a pic on the old place, and Rexx sent me seeds.
Now I notice! hahahah
None around here...........but I saw one in NCgarden's shearing sheep pics............hahahahha
I have become a Mullein spotter!
I'm like a drug task force dog....................I can spot it in an instant!

I've had a few volunteers here and there over the years, but this year they're making a mass appearance. I've counted over a dozen so far, and there are probably more around the yard that I haven't yet found. They're not as advanced as Lisa's; there aren't any seed buds yet.
Lisa, are your mulleins fuzzy? All of mine are, like Lamb's Ears. Maybe they got together sometime ago and mixed it up?
