breezygardener, my invoice was dated 9/17. Get your necessities completed, because when it arrives, you’ll be wanting to sit and flip the pages. I placed my order on 9/1 and still no catalog.

This doesn't have a catalog, but it is one of two places that I have found as a source for Asian seeds, since that evergreenseeds, that used to be in CA, went out of business a few years ago. I ordered 6 packs of seeds from Chauly's Favorite Seeds last Wednesday, and got the seeds today, Monday! And every pack is priced @ $1.99, with a flat rate shipping of $5.25. They also have a lot of other seeds - I got a several other things that are cheaper than anywhere else I've found them. I also got 2 free seed packs. www.babybows.com/seeds/seeds.htm

Baker Creek Rare Seed catalog arrived today. This is the free catalog…smaller in size and about half the number of pages compared to last year’s free catalog. I wonder if they have more than one version of their free catalog.

Not last year, but the year before, I know they had two free catalogs - one about the same as last year, and one much smaller. Don't remember when I got the second one.

Yesterday I received the regular Baker Creek catalog and today I received the replacement Whole Seed Catalog in the mail. I know my gardening friend down the road will be ecstatic when I give her the copy that arrived damaged

Having not received seed (or any other) catalogs for many years, after placing an order with Baker Creek for the Ukraine donation in February, I received the Baker Creek Heirloom Rare Seed edition today. I have mixed feelings about it. There are some really wonderful selections to admire but I 'm thinking I will now get to see who they might have sold my address to.

You could always give them a call and inquire whether or not they share their mailing list. I'm always excited to get a new-to-me catalog though. As for me, I did some research on a Lettuce Grow system because a teacher asked PTO if we could help get supplies for it. Now everywhere I go online I'm plagued with advertisements for it.

binnylou , my Rohrer catalogue came today. Brownrexx, who lives near to them, mentioned them here a while back. I have also ordered from them. One of these days, I'd like to take a ride out to their store. It's about an hour and a half from here and a nice ride through 'Dutch Country' to get there.

I went to Rohrer's one time, back in the 90s, when a friend and I would go down through mushroom country (Kennett Square), then a Mexican grocery and a tortilla factory, in Avondale, then up to That Fish Place (back then the absolute cheapest, and largest aquarium store), in Lancaster. Also some woodworking places I would go to, but the fish store we would go to last, in case we got any fish, and come straight home (sort of). Haven't made that trip since Mexican places opened around here, plus online sources for aquarium items.
