I need to hardened up my maters before putting into the garden, just started doing that this weekend. It'll be a next week at least before setting them out. Putting them in anytime in the next 2-4 weeks there is the threat of frost so I will be using the jugs.

The babies are in the ground and on their own, with milk jug and mulch protection. Didn't even have to water when transplanting, very wet ground. And it's cloudy with major fog this a.m. 15 peppers, 4 eggplant and 8 maters. Still have 115 maters in the house for Dad. Gave one to neighbor along with cage to support it. The air inside those jugs is warmer than outside!
