So here we go again. I'm already starting to feel burnt out but then again the exhilaration of completing a goal gives me a sudden burst of energy. Moved back a couple things from previous lists as they would be better suited to fall or winter.
1. Work on constructing bean trellises that will maximize available space. Still have beans to plant do its an ongoing thing.
2. Remove mortar from salvaged blocks and create the final bed.
3. Multi-sow more beet transplants and seed fall brassicas.
4. Work on cleaning around the fence in the garden as time permits. Creeping Charlie is invading the path.
5. Decide on placement of the greenhouse and prepare area.

1. Weed!! All this rain has brought more than I've seen in years! Its going to take me days.
2. mow the native grass. I do this once or twice a season.
3. enjoy the dog days of summer and relax in my gardens.

1. Transplant cukes and squash; also remaining flowers. 2. Plant pole and bush beans, okra, carrots, herbs and greens. 3. Keep on weeding. 4. Mow and edge pathways. 5. Find homes for leftover peppers and tomatoes. 6. Harvest onions. 7. Find good spot for the hammock and occupy it.

Everything is established and healthy, so July is nurture, maintenance, and watching for the usual insect problems month, hoping for future bounty...and it's about time to plan the fall/winter garden.

Still a day left but figured I'd update my progress.
1. Work on constructing bean trellises that will maximize available space. Still have beans to plant do its an ongoing thing. pretty much completed
2. Remove mortar from salvaged blocks and create the final bed. Finished!
3. Multi-sow more beet transplants and seed fall brassicas. Finished!
4. Work on cleaning around the fence in the garden as time permits. Creeping Charlie is invading the path. In progress and have removed a garbage can full of weeds so far.
5. Decide on placement of the greenhouse and prepare area. 95% sure of where it will be. Still some small trees to cut and lots of preparation to the ground yet.
Looking forward to harvesting and possibly relaxing a bit next month.

1. Transplant cukes and squash; also remaining flowers. Need to redo for cukes, since chickens ate all but one plant, 2. Plant pole and bush beans, okra, carrots, herbs and greens.
3. Keep on weeding.
4. Mow and edge pathways.
5. Find homes for leftover peppers and tomatoes. Still have a few left. Will shove into ground here and there. 6. Harvest onions. Not ready for a few weeks more. 7. Find good spot for the hammock and occupy it. First need to extricate it from the weeds.
