Thanks Mumsey, I don't take any over the counter meds- even aspirin- and don't use any of their garden products, but it's good to know what Bayer produces. There are certainly alternatives for the OTC meds, for those who use them.

Probably just about every gardening company sells Bayer products, except those that sell only seeds, and even those are included sometimes, because they own the patents on the names of many hybrids! I remember a similar list before Bayer bought them out. I just make sure I don't buy the bad products.

Bayer is changing its formulation for Roundup, removing glycophosphate.

We knew they were going to have to get rid of glycophosphate, due to the lawsuits, but is the replacement going to be even worse? Or is it going to be similar, so that it can still be sprayed over all those GMO crops? We know they aren't just dropping it, and replacing with something safe.

Thanks, Mumsey , for the info. I think this updates the information I have had. Great! Bayer is changing its formulation for Roundup, removing glycophosphate. I wouldn't trust what they say IMHO. And as pepperhead212 , said too. Here is a list of the top evil l companies in the world : www.thetoptens.com/most-evil-companies/Bayer #12 and it is said: "Bayer, Remember they own Monsanto. Together they first make you sick and then treat you and make $$$$ selling you aspirin". Also, Bayer may own Monsanto but they do talk about Monsanto in the present day.

lilolpeapicker, If you keep scrolling the list, there's something wrong with every single company in the world, or so it seems. We would have to be totally self reliant in order to boycott them all. But we do what we can do!

Yes and because of those lists I find I take Bayer aspirin and Clairtin NDF on a regular basis without even thinking about whose pockets I am lining. I think I will have to find something to switch to.

they say they are not removing it due to health or safety concerns, but to end litigations. This makes sense, legally. If they say it is for health and safety concerns they will go bankrupt from all the new lawsuits everyone will file, bringing forth their statement as proof that their hangnail was from planting candy onions.

find something to switch to. Good luck with that. Many store brands (generics) are often packaged by the very companies we want to avoid. I also use Loratidine OTC (Claritin), the only thing on the bottle is a number to call for questions. Maybe there is more info on the box, which I don't have.

Litigations aren't going to "end" if the statute of limitations has yet to run. Suits can still be filed until that date. I hope the class action attorneys do that, as they can amend the complaint pursuant to state and local court rules, but still get a filing in under the statutory expirations. Mumsey , I've found that same "hidden info" issue. Product names are prominent, instructions are less prominent and finding corporate identifies and affiliations are less so. What really irks me are the "distributed by" "identities". Consumers shouldn't have to do research to determine the manufacturer of OTC meds. I've found over the years that music and reading are better than medicine anyway. And they're healthier too. I personally think that other than some prescribed meds, OTC meds are really overrated. Some don't work or provide relief at all.

Litigations aren't going to "end" if the statute of limitations has yet to run. True, but if the company says there are problems, that can be used as evidence against them in a lawsuit. Intead the litigants will have to bring scientific proof that the harm claimed was caused by the product.
