Congratulations. Putting a book together is not easy. I see you have a lot on companion planting. Did you find a lot of newer, science based research on this? Some of the original work in the late 1800's was based on weird experiments with crystals and how beautiful their patterns were and not more believable ones, like actually planting and observing. It is necessary to sort out real compatibility of plants from the mythological "friendships". The following article is a starting point for thinking about this. gardenrant.com/2019/12/companion-planting-fraud-vs-facts.html

I was looking at a book from around 1920's as for companion planting I am working more with the spacing. shading, timing and root depth aspects of companion planting. I am staying away from magical thinkin aspects. I am also staying away from pest ,diseases issues in book because those are too local issues. my goal deal spacing, scheduling and density of plantings.
