What does milkweed look like when it emerges from seed? My native orange seeded very well last year, and I want to be able to identify any sproutlings before they're missed and mowed. I need more milkweed, and the world needs more Monarchs.

Mine are coming back from seed I planted last year, so I don't have any pictures of seedlings. But doing a search, a number of photos came up and maybe what is attached can help you.

Thanks pondgardener, they look like I'd hoped they might. Not too different from the mature plant. I'll keep an eye out for them.

I have one milkweed plant (perennial), it's very late in the season to even emerge. Patience.
